This messenger bag was created out of white vinyl with yellow canvas "racing" stripes. There is a zipper pocket outside with a cute little Naruto manga page on it, two pockets inside, and a pen pocket inside. The main compartment's flap has a velcro closure. The strap is long, approximately 44", Great fit still over a winter coat. The strap can be folded and pinned to shorten and features it's own little stripe.
The inner lining is a white unbleached cotton and is interfaced with fleece to keep it sturdy and durable. This is one great bag to use everyday!
I was able to fit in reciepts, some bills, Nintendo DSi, cellphone, a changing pad, a couple of diaper, a paperback book, a wallet, my babies zipper pouch, and a zipper pouch with an ipod!
